This 432-bed short-term acute care facility provides full-service medical and surgical services to the surrounding patient community. The facility maintains established clinical infrastructure and protocols to support quality patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated care for the cardiothoracic surgery service line.

The Kentucky region offers a range of outdoor and nature-based experiences suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore the state's natural landscapes, seasonal attractions, and regional recreational opportunities. The broader area also provides access to local dining, shops, and wildlife experiences throughout the year.

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide locum tenens inpatient and OR coverage on a call basis, serving as second call during weekdays and first call on weekends. When on first call, the clinician will round at two hospital locations and manage inpatient consults and surgical cases. This assignment excludes elective cases and clinic responsibilities. A support team of 3 surgeons and 5 APPs is available throughout each assigned coverage period.
