Director, Adult Inpatient Psychiatry – South Oaks Hospital, Amityville, NY
The Department of Psychiatry at South Oaks Hospital is seeking a Director for its Adult Inpatient unit to provide clinical leadership and direct care for our busy unit. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with excellent clinical, teaching, supervisory, and interpersonal skills who is comfortable leading a multidisciplinary team of clinicians. The candidate should also possess a skill set appropriate for the management of acute psychiatric patients with a focus on service excellence.
Candidate qualifications:
BC/BE in Psychiatry
, completion of an ACGME approved residency training, and eligibility for a NYS medical license. Prior leadership experience is preferred but overall experience will be considered. Excellent communication skills required.
South Oaks Hospital is a 202-bed behavioral health hospital located on the Nassau/Suffolk border on Long Island.
