Bayview Physicians Group is a progressive, independent, multi-specialty physician-led group serving the Hampton Roads region. We are currently seeking Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) to join our collaborative team of urgent care providers at our Now Care Urgent Cares.

Now Care operates seven convenient locations throughout Southeast, Virginia including the areas of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Suffolk, providing walk-in urgent care services seven days a week from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Our team provides high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of acute illness an injury in a modern, efficient outpatient setting.

What we offer:

Hiring Range: $115,000-$145,000
- Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, schedule, and job duties

Responsibilities:

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Now Care Urgent Care, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team.

You must be comfortable providing care to patients of all ages
.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute illness and injuries for patients of all ages
Perform comprehensive medical evaluations including patient histories and physical examinations
Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic studies, including laboratory testing, EKGs, and X-rays
Develop evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications in accordance with current clinical guidelines
Perform common urgent care procedures:
o Laceration repair (suturing/stapling)
o Incision and drainage
o Splinting and basic orthopedic care
o Foreign body removal
o Splinting and basic orthopedic care
o Wound care and dressing changes
Work collaboratively with physicians, other APPs, nurses, radiologic technologists, and support staff
Obtain and maintain DOT Medical Examiner Certification (or be willing to obtain upon hire)
Perform DOT physical examinations and complete all required documentation
Perform occupational health services, including;
o Urine drug screens (UDS)
o Breath alcohol testing
o Chain of custody specimen collection and documentation
o Return to work and work-related injury evaluations
