We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our long-standing independent physician-owned group as part of a planned Medical Director transition. This is a unique opportunity to step into a stable, democratic emergency medicine practice that has served the community since the mid-1970s. The group staffs the Emergency Department at Willamette Valley Medical Center, a 60-bed Level III Trauma Center serving the greater Willamette Valley region.

The current Medical Director has been with the group since 2007 and is seeking the right physician leader for a gradual leadership transition over the next 6-12 months.

The Medical Director role includes:

• Approximately 60-80 clinical hours monthly plus Administrative responsibilities
• This position offers a pathway into the Medical Director role over approximately 6-12 months.
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with prior leadership experience preferred
• Minimum 7+ years of post-training experience preferred
• Physician scheduling and operational oversight
• Collaboration with hospital administration and medical staff leadership
