From diagnosing complex conditions to developing treatment plans and caring for patients through recovery, you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to excellence.
** Key Position Details:
** Serve as the primary physician for hospitalized patients, providing expert medical care, developing individualized treatment plans, performing inpatient procedures, and partnering with care teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.  
** Practice Details:
*** 70 plus Hospitalist team including physicians and APP's.
* Strong teaching atmosphere with the option to work with our associated family medicine residency program.
* Excellian, our EMR, is a software product from Epic and is considered one of the most comprehensive systems in the nation.
* You will be based out of United Hospital, but with the ability to cover at additional locations, as needed.
* Full time, 7 on 7 off

* Job Description:

*** Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
* Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
* Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
* Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.
* May participate in peer review and quality assurance.  

Required Qualifications
* Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine and
* Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Job Requirements
* Board Eligible/Board Certified with ABMS or AOA required
* Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
* Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
* Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and hospital privileges.
* ACLS/BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required upon hire
