Open Train is recruiting a senior dermatology reviewer to contribute expert clinical judgment to AI evaluation and data curation. You will review complex and ambiguous dermatology cases in a longitudinal dataset, help establish clinical evaluation frameworks, resolve disagreement among reviewers, and provide guideline-aligned commentary and consensus documentation. The work also includes advisory input on model outputs and appropriate subspecialty consultation, with careful attention to clinical defensibility, protocol adherence, and conflicts of interest.

You will lead senior-level clinical review for assigned dermatology case batches, evaluate complex cases using current dermatology guidelines, facilitate structured resolution of clinical disagreement, contribute to clinical evaluation frameworks and reviewer guidance, document clinically defensible reasoning and consensus, and provide advisory input on AI model outputs and subspecialty questions.

Candidates must hold a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or above at an accredited US medical school or academic medical center, board certification in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, at least three years since residency completion, an active clinical practice, and an active medical license in good standing in at least one US state. Subspecialty fellowship training, peer-reviewed dermatology publication experience, strong written clinical reasoning, and familiarity with current dermatology guidelines and complex medical images are required.

Prior clinical AI evaluation, digital health, dermatology AI research, journal peer review, IRB or research committee service, specialty society involvement, and experience teaching residents or fellows are helpful. The work is remote, asynchronous, and expected to average 15 hours per week, with up to 40 hours per week during peak batches. The engagement is planned for 4 weeks and uses pay-per-task compensation, with the amount determined by experience, academic standing, and clinical expertise.
