About the Position

Locums Rheumatology Physician near Boston, Massachusetts - Flexible Clinic Sessions, Long-Term Coverage

Work a full-time outpatient rheumatology assignment with four-hour patient-facing sessions and an established group of rheumatology and orthopedic physicians.

Highlights:

• Approximately 24 weeks of coverage with extension potential
• Morning or afternoon clinic sessions
• General rheumatology without an acute case focus
• Two rheumatologists and more than 10 orthopedic physicians onsite

Practice & Cases:

• In-person outpatient general rheumatology
• Approximately 18 patients per day
• No advanced practice provider coverage
• Established rheumatology and orthopedic physician presence onsite

Schedule:

• Six clinic sessions per week
• Monday through Friday coverage
• Four-hour patient-facing sessions
• Rotating evening and 1 in 3 weekend call

Requirements:

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified in Rheumatology
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• BLS and DEA required
