Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led and accountable 800+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a Pediatrician (MD/DO) committed to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care. This opportunity is based at the new North Meridian Health Plaza, an 80,000+ square foot facility scheduled to open in 2028. We are seeking pediatric providers interested in building a practice within a collaborative multispecialty medical group framework while serving the growing Meridian community.
The pediatric practice will provide comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents, including well-child visits, preventive care, immunizations, developmental screenings, chronic disease management, same-day sick visits, and school and sports physicals. Providers will work alongside a broad network of primary care and specialty providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
North Meridian Health Plaza will serve community members seeking wellness, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation services in a convenient and accessible environment. Designed as a comprehensive outpatient healthcare destination, the facility will offer a broad range of services for patients of all ages, including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care with extended hours, Orthopedic Urgent Care, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Cardiology, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, ENT, Audiology, Sleep Medicine, Pulmonology, Physical Therapy, on-site Laboratory, Advanced Imaging, and Pharmacy services, all in one convenient location.
The provider will ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines and will seek timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other healthcare resources as indicated. The qualified candidate must be passionate about providing comprehensive primary care services and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
SAMG utilizes the EPIC electronic health record (EHR) across its clinics and hospitals; experience with EHR systems is preferred.
Requirements
:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited pediatric residency program
- Board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) or the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (AOBP) or ability to obtain within 3 years of employment
- Current, unrestricted medical license in Idaho or ability to obtain
- Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho board of Pharmacy & DEA
