M.H.G. Preparatory Academy is seeking a mission-driven, visionary Principal to provide strong instructional, operational, and spiritual leadership. The ideal candidate is a student-centered leader who understands how to recruit and retain students

This role requires a hands-on leader who is willing to serve beyond the traditional school day
, supporting after-school programs, weekend initiatives, and summer programming to advance the mission and growth of the school.
- Instructional Day: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Required for after-school programs, events, recruitment activities, and community engagement.
Leadership & School Culture:
- Provide strong, Christ-centered leadership aligned with the mission, vision, and values of M.H.G. Preparatory Academy.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and academically excellent school culture.
- Lead by example in character, integrity, and professionalism.
- Support students, staff, and families through relational and servant leadership.
Student Recruitment & Enrollment Growth:
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to increase student enrollment.
- Build relationships with families, churches, community organizations, and referral partners.
- Represent the school at open houses, community events, and recruitment activities.
- Support retention efforts through strong family engagement and communication.
Academic & Instructional Oversight:
- Supervise instructional staff and ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Support curriculum alignment, academic accountability, and student achievement.
- Oversee student assessments, progress monitoring, and intervention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and academic standards.
Diversity, Equity & Student Support:
- Demonstrate experience working with students from diverse cultural, social, and educational backgrounds.
- Promote an inclusive learning environment that honors each student’s unique identity and needs.
- Collaborate with support staff to address behavioral, social-emotional, and academic challenges.
Faith & Governing Board Church of M.H.G. Community & Engagement:
- Actively participate in the school’s Governing Non-denominational (Spirit-filled) church community.
- Support spiritual development initiatives, prayer gatherings, and faith-based programming.
- Uphold and model Christian values in leadership, decision-making, and daily interactions.
- Align school operations with the mission-based Christian model.
Operational & Program Leadership:
- Oversee daily school operations, scheduling, and campus management.
- Support and assist in after-school programs
, weekend initiatives
, and summer programming
. - Be available for special events, meetings, and school functions outside regular hours.
- Collaborate with the Head of School on staffing, planning, and strategic growth.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred (Education, Educational Leadership, or related field). - Previous experience as a Principal, Assistant Principal, Dean, or School Leader preferred.
- Proven experience in student recruitment, enrollment growth, or community outreach.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to Christian education and mission-based leadership.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
, including evenings, weekends, and summer months. - Strong relational skills with students, families, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to balance academic leadership with operational and programmatic responsibilities.
