Vacancy   - 06513 Position Category Other (Administrator) Title Student Support Specialist (Project SOAR) Description Duties:
The Student Support Specialist will support programs of each school as needed and assigned by the Project Director. The following duties are assigned to the Student Support Specialist to assist with the goals and objectives:
Assist with the social and emotional program to promote the whole child;
Assist schools with developing action plans, training, tool kits, and programmatic reports to promote a framework to promote school safety, climate, and culture;
Participate as a team member for specific student problems Assist in resolving issues with purposeful interaction with parents and other family members;
Conduct home visits as necessary;
Coordinate meetings with students and families in support of assigned program Address issues, such as truancy, with students and the negative impact it has on academic success and social-emotional learning;
Develop and implement an elementary program that targets at-risk students and help all students be successful Comments
