Salary Range: $15.30 – $18.00

Shift: Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.); occasional nights, weekends or holidays may be required

• Provide administrative support to the 4-H Youth Development program area and the 4-H County Agent(s).
• Report to an Extension Agent with a high level of interaction with the general public.
• Assist in program support, teaching, recruitment & marketing, and record keeping in a professional manner.
• Assist with Quick Books and maintaining budget files.
• Promote and organize new 4-H clubs; recruit members and volunteer leaders.
• Support and guide existing 4-H clubs; recruit and work with volunteers for events and activities (group projects, achievement events, public presentation programs).
• Serve all clientele in accordance with Cooperative Extension Service policies and procedures.

  Education:
  
  No set minimum requirements.
• Driver’s License: Driver’s License required.
• Physical Requirements: Travel to sites throughout the county; sitting/standing/walking for long periods; handling of average-weight objects up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  Education or previous experience in working with youth and in an administrative support role.

  Skills:
  
  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Office 365, Teams, Skype for Business), Zoom, Quick Books.

State law requires a national and state criminal background check and a letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect found through a background check of child abuse and neglect records as a condition of employment or involvement in this program.
