Mandatory training:
Thursday, August 14th, 9am-4pm

Job Description SI Leaders attend all assigned classes, take notes, read all assigned materials and prepare activities for SI study review sessions. SI Leaders facilitate three study sessions (50 minutes in length) each week, and collect attendance data for every session. They hold additional sessions for mock exam review sessions. They maintain minor paperwork flow as needed.

SI Leaders need a desire to help students master difficult material, the ability to model the learning method processes necessary to become content-proficient, and good verbal and social interaction and communication skills with student peers. Leaders must have a grade of A or B in the assigned course. Must be responsible, socially engaging, confidential and patient. All interested students must fill out a student employment application.

Effective social interaction skills
