Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of science
- Apply forest growth and yield models to generate projected future yields for tree species of the eastern United States across local and broad scales.
- Develop a harvest scheduling model to simulate forest management activities across the eastern United States.
- Produce reports and peer-reviewed journal articles relevant to the research project.
Percentage of time: 80%
- Communicate regularly and in a timely fashion with the PIs regarding research and other issues relevant to the operation of the project.
Percentage of time: 10%
- Present results of research at technical meetings.
- Attend regular meetings of the research group.

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
- Strong interest in forest harvest scheduling, programming, data management, and spatial analysis with both vector and raster databases.
