This is a year-round, full-time instructor position with Adult Education based at the Munfordville Learning Center with added assignments at the Hart County Detention Center and LaRue County Detention Center. The instructor must be willing to teach one evening per week adjusting the work hours that day to 10 am - 6 pm CT/ 11 am - 7 pm ET. Normal work hours are 8 am - 4 pm CT/ 9 am - 5 pm ET.
The instructor will teach GED subjects (Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Math) to adults as well as Serv Safe workforce training. All adult education instructors must have a minimum bachelor degree and pass the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE 13 /14
A) earning a NRS Level 6 in both Reading and Math. The salary schedule for Adult Education Instructor corresponds to job salary G37 in Hart County Schools' 26-27 Salary Schedule and begins at a salary of $47,226 for zero years' experience.
