Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at Caldwell County Primary School. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children. This full‑time position requires a commitment to promoting a love of learning while implementing age‑appropriate curricula that align with educational standards.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents on academic and social development.
- Foster a love of learning through creative and interactive teaching methods, including hands‑on activities and play‑based learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student achievement and well‑being.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to school policies and procedures.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events.
- Support students in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution strategies.
- Implement classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and respect among students.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification for Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education.
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and age‑appropriate teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that supports diverse learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom for all students.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- A passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young learners’ lives.
