No Limits Academy is a Christian school that specializes in educating children with complex physical disabilities. As a teacher at No Limits Academy, you will learn how to implement the No Limits™ Method, an innovative approach to increasing academic achievement through muscle stimulation, neuropathway rebuilding, and stimulation of the seven senses.

• Use Approved Curriculum based on FL State Standards.
• Develop daily lesson plans.
• Integrate therapeutic interventions such as positional equipment, sensory tools and hands‑on manipulatives - as trained.
• Actively participate in team meetings such as Cognitive March Meetings, weekly teacher meetings, and Lifeplans (IEP equivalent).
• Prepare, administer, supervise, and grade examinations, quizzes, assessments and other assignments.
• Keeping the classroom neat, organized, and orderly.
• Create and distribute report cards to both students and parents.
• Assist with personal care of students such as bath‑rooming and changing.
• Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning, teaching practice, and personal/collective professional development.
• Knowledge and proficiency in using technology and educational software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess strong classroom management skills.
• Be the leader, and create an organized classroom that promotes creativity and learning.
• Maintain small classroom ratio with at most eight students to a room, two teacher assistants, and one teacher.
• Promote the values of Christ.

A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university is required. An Educator Certificate is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) is required. Experience working with children with disabilities preferred.

Required Level II Background clearance required.

Monday - Friday 7:45a - 4:00p, 10 month school year
