The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE) operates 50 Area Technology Centers (ATCs) that serve 115 local feeder districts. The ATCs offer state‑approved four‑course Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. The Kentucky Department of Education supports the ATCs with guidance, resources, and oversight.
This instructor position will teach occupational preparatory classes in the Industrial Maintenance program and will support the application‑based learning of students preparing for careers in industrial maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities- Teach occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.

- Hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;
- OR hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;
- OR have four years of appropriate work experience, two of which in the last five years.

- Must be able to acquire the personal national certifications applicable to the program area (NCCER, ABC, AGC). Candidates may be hired without the necessary certifications but must acquire them at the next available testing period.
In accordance with KRS 161.220, the selected applicant will become a member of the Teachers' Retirement System.
