QUALIFICATIONS:

• Shall communicate effectively both orally and in writing with parents, students, and faculty.
• Shall have demonstrated people skills to indicate ability to function in a team‑oriented environment.
• Shall have a high school diploma or GED.
• Shall have a minimum of one year experience in cooking and baking food in large quantities.
• Shall complete a training course for certification of beginning school food service personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045.

JOB GOAL:

To prepare, cook, bake, and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned school site; assist in other food preparation duties as directed; maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition; and provide training and work direction to others.
