BESis seeking a vibrant, flexible individual to serve as our school designated guest teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This person would be responsible for providing a safe, positive learning environment for all students as well as maintaining high expectations as you deliver instruction.
This position is for the 26–27 school year. It is a full-time position with benefits. The School Designated Guest Teacher (permanent substitute) will report to the school each instructional day. The SDGT will be assigned to a school location and perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent within the school. Travel requirement:
If there are no teacher absences at the assigned school on a particular day, the SDGT may be required to fill a teacher absence at another school location that day.

Minimum requirement: Must have a Bachelor's Degree
Salary: $133.90 to $160.68 Per Year
Salaryis a DAILY RATE based on the board approved salary schedule for the school year!

- $30,000 life insurance policy - paid for by Bullitt County Public Schools
- Health Insurance (employee monthly premium based on plan selected)

- Sick Leave and Personal Leave and Emergency Leave (prorated depending upon start date)
- Personal Leave not used in school year rolls over to sick leave
- Earn 2 more sick days if you do not use any sick leave during school year
