Job Summary:The Migrant Education Project Coordinatorisresponsiblefortheday -to-day activities andfunctionsoftheprioritywork.

Theprojectcoordinatorwillactasaliaisonbetweentheschooland the homes of migrant families to reduce academic and social deficits that may result from excessivemobility and language barriers.

• Provideoverallprojectcoordinationtoensurehigh-qualityimplementationofgrantplansand management of funds for the stated purpose
• Facilitatenetworkstosupportincreasedknowledgeandunderstandingofprioritycontent (regular and migrant)
• Maintainongoingprofessionalcommunicationwithallprojectparticipantsandpartnersto ensure successful project progress
• Leadinitiativestoensuregoalsandobjectivesarecompletedontimeandwithin budget
• Ensurelinesofsupervisionandcommunicationareclearandexecutedacrossall stakeholders
• Maintainsaccuraterecordsoftheiremployeeswithinthe region
• Administerandmonitorallaspectsof
  
  TitleI,PartC,Migrant Programwithallstandalone migrant districts, consortiums and sub-contracted districts.
• Ensuresarestandalonedistrictshaveadequatelycompletedtheservicedeliveryplan requirements
• Ensures that all non-standalone districts with Priority for Service (PFS) students receive adequateservices,servicesaredocumentedinthewebapp,andpaperworkissubmittedto the regional clerk on time
• Ensuresallmigrantstudentsreceiveinstructionalsummerservices;coordinateasummer camp with a college or university for middle and high school students
• Performsperformanceevaluationsforallregionalemployeesandprovidesthe Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) copies at their request
• Prepareandsubmitannualgrantapplicationsandamendmentsforeachstandalonemigrant program
• Performrelateddutiesasassignedbythe Executive Directoror  designee

• Depthofknowledgeandexperiencethatdirectlyrelatestotheposition’sjob summary
• Recognitionamongschoolsandorganizationsinvolvedasaleaderincollaborative grant-funded programming
• Historyofsuccessfulpartnershipswithschooldistrictsandcommunity organizations

• Offerguidanceandcollaborationacrosstheregion(districts,familyresourcecenters, parents, community partners, students)
• Developanddeliverprofessionallearningtotargetedaudiences regionally
• Establishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith others
• Maintaincurrentknowledgeofprogramrules,regulations,requirements,and restrictions
• Analyzesituationsaccuratelyanddevelopaneffectivecourseof action
