Description
The Boone County Area Technology Center in Hebron, KY is looking for a Health Science Instructor who is dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students. Salary:
Dependent on rank and experience. In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Kentucky Teachers’ Retirement System.

EDUCATION: Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught; OR Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught; OR Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Requires current RN license and one‑year long‑term care experience obtained in an approved skilled nursing facility or distinct part (SNF or NF) long‑term care unit as defined in Federal Regulations Part 483 – Requirements for State and Long‑Term Care Facilities.
Additional InformationApplicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check. Applicants under contract with a local school district must submit a written release from their superintendent before an offer of employment can be extended.
