Responsibilities
Manage the admissions process including inquiries, applications, correspondence, collection of documents, and maintaining admissions data.
Manage an assigned geographic territory or specified population, including planning travel logistics, making reservations, scheduling one‑on‑one meetings, college fairs or other recruitment events, and submitting detailed expense reports.
Discuss financial aid with prospective students and families.
Use a client relationship management (CRM) tool and other software to aid in recruitment and communication.
Assist with campus events, summer orientations, and other programs as requested.
Communicate effectively with applicants in a timely manner.
Provide thorough knowledge of the university, academic departments, programs, curricula, and expectations.
Collaborate with academic departments and administration regularly and build/maintain positive relationships.
Provide prompt and efficient customer service.
Learn and execute new information and data processes as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Valid driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and public speaking skills.
- Good people skills and ability to communicate in all mediums (phone, presentations, email, text, social media, written correspondence, face‑to‑face).
- Proficient in computer literacy and knowledgeable of Microsoft Office.
- Show initiative, adaptability, resourcefulness, dependability, and the ability to take action.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and overnight travel.
