The role involves creating a positive learning environment where students develop sportsmanship, fundamental skills, teamwork, and responsibility.

• Develop and implement a high-quality coaching program to maximize participation and performance of competitive teams.
• Plan each activity session to ensure the program demonstrates progression throughout.
• Maintain and correctly set up all equipment associated with the coaching program.
• Implement appropriate health and safety policies and procedures in line with district policies.
• Provide mentoring, support, and guidance to other coaches, players, and student volunteers.
• Take responsibility for continuous professional development and attend relevant training courses when offered.

• Strong leadership qualities and effective delegation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Self‑motivated and able to encourage a wide range of participants.
• Works independently and as part of a team.
• Effective group management of participants.
• Attendance at all fixtures/training sessions including gym and field sessions.

Drug test and criminal background check are required for all applicants.
