Job Overview

Position: Principal

Location: Fitchburg, MA

Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Pay Range: $80,620 – $91,907 annually

Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000

• Under the supervision of the Education Director assure the successful implementation of MA Curriculum Frameworks and instructional strategies for a diverse student population.
• Serve as Individual Education Plan (IEP) coordinator and ensure DESE regulation compliance.
• Develop and refine a broad continuum of educational and vocational programs.
• Provide supervision, support and direction to teachers and aides to assure provision of effective differentiated instruction, curriculum‑based assessments, and data collection to monitor student progress.
• Provide training and support to teachers related to their effective supervision of instructional support staff.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Master’s Degree in Education or related field required.
• DESE licensed as Principal or Administrator of Special Education required.
• Minimum three years experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting required.
• Must be able to attend a 2‑week paid orientation in Rutland, Monday‑Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
