High School Color Guard Assistant Sponsor
Location: Nicholas County Middle and High School, Carlisle, Kentucky
Starting Date: July 1, 2026
Position Type: Part‑time
Salary: $2,200 (Stipend)
Reports To: Band Director
Supervises: Band Students
Basic Function: Provide leadership, coordination, and instruction of color guard.
Responsibilities- Assist the band director in the instruction of all color guard activities and practices according to the approved schedule.
- Teach and refine the color guard routine.
- Provide after‑school practices according to the approved schedule.
- Assist in designing flags and costumes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience with high school and/or drum corps.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
- Work schedule to be established between July 1 and June 30, covering marching band and color guard seasons.
