Master Lbd Special Education Teacher

Brooks Elementary is searching for a master LBD special education teacher. Candidates must be equipped with a comprehensive understanding of Kentucky academic standards and classroom experience to effectively differentiate instruction to reach a diverse population of learners. Candidates must love students, have a passion for teaching and learning, value active student engagement, and maintain high expectations that will deliver student growth.

This individual will co-teach/co-plan and will also work with small groups and/or individual students in a resource room setting and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering a program of instruction that supports high expectations for all students.

Candidates must hold certification for teaching students with learning and behavior disorders (LBD).

This position is for the  school year. Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the  school year.
