• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with state standards and promote student learning in reading, writing, and critical analysis.

• Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, essays, and projects, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Foster a love for reading by introducing students to a diverse range of literary works and genres.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular activities related to English language and literature, such as writing clubs, book fairs, and literary competitions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrate technology into the curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in English for secondary education.
• Proven experience teaching English at the high school level, with a strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Knowledge of diverse literary works and a passion for fostering a love of reading and writing in students.
