Job Description

Provide 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) coordination and oversight of after‑school programs at Park City Elementary School, ensuring high‑quality academic and recreational enrichment for students.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • No felony convictions or past criminal history; physical exam completed.
  • Good character and moral behavior.
  • Minimum GED certificate.
  • Five years of field experience in a K‑12 school setting (preferred).
  • Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
Critical Skills / Expertise
  • Creative strengths to provide innovative activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with school district staff, public officials, parents, and community leaders.
Essential Job Functions
  • Work with all facets of the Barren County community.
  • Manage people, records, and program data.
  • Evaluate program success and take corrective action.
  • Supervise students, staff, and volunteers.
  • Provide academic remediation and enrichment.
  • Plan and manage recreational programs.
  • Coordinate funding, budgeting, and financial responsibilities.
  • Maintain equipment, inventory, and facility safety.
  • Monitor and enforce attendance, discipline, and assessment procedures.
  • Facilitate communication among school, community, and program partners.
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics in accordance with BCBOE policies.
  • Implement and analyze data for program improvement.
  • Report to the District After school Coordinator and Community Education Director.
  • Support the development of high‑quality programming for low‑income, underserved youth.
  • Attend and monitor all after‑school activities, including special events.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly attendance logs, statistical reports, and newsletters.
Terms of Employment
  • Work year based on school calendar and board policy.
  • Salary commensurate with classified salary schedule.
  • Sick/personal leave and holidays as per board policy.
  • At‑will employment; superintendent may terminate at any time.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment

May involve lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, standing, walking, and talking. Work both indoors and outdoors; must demonstrate ability to lead activities to youth.

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Board policies on classified personnel evaluation.
