Job Summary

The Conservative School Outreach Coordinator is a key member of YAF’s Program Team, elevating the work of YAF by reaching out to Christian and classical private school administrators, educators, and students as well as homeschool associations and students to engage these key constituencies with YAF’s programs and resources nationwide. The Outreach Coordinator will establish an active, up-to-date database of Christian and classical private school contacts and homeschool associations nationwide.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain an active database of Christian and classical private school contacts and homeschool associations nationwide
  • Develop and implement a plan for YAF’s engagement with homeschool associations and homeschool conventions nationwide
  • Develop relationships with key contacts at Christian and classical private schools nationwide to introduce them to YAF’s offerings, including student programs, resources, and activism initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with organizations and foundations that work with homeschool and private school administrators, students, and educators
  • Research new and emerging private schools and homeschool associations whose missions align with YAF
  • Help organize events for key private school and homeschool contacts at YAF sites, including the Reagan Ranch, Reagan Boyhood Home, Capitol Hill Townhouse, and National Headquarters
  • Work with YAF’s Program Team to engage increasing numbers of Christian, classical private school, and homeschool students in YAF’s programs nationwide, including recruiting for individual YAF membership
  • Produce progress reports on YAF’s private school and homeschool outreach as requested by YAF’s leadership
  • Assist with YAF programs, events, and special projects as needed

Requirements
  • Committed to and enthusiastic about YAF’s mission and programs
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent research and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and written
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a variety of personality types
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a collaborative, constructive team member
  • Salary range: $55,000 – $70,000
