Qualifications:

• Valid state Special Education Teacher certification
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
• Previous work in a school or educational environment preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students according to IEPs
• Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Track student progress, adjust strategies, and provide appropriate interventions
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and training sessions as needed
