Annawan Ag Department has a large Ag Mechanics shop that includes a CNC machine and welding booths. Annawan Facilities currently include a large classroom, office, and ag shop with space to modify as the curriculum drives. Recent investments in the agricultural program include upgrades to the science curriculum, welding equipment, and plasma table.

Annawan is a one to one school with Chromebooks. Current courses to be taught are Introduction to Agriculture, Ag Mechanics and Technology, Agriculture Welding, Agricultural Construction, Biological Science Applications in Agriculture, Ag Business Management, Vet Science, Applied Ag Math, Horticulture Production Management, but courses are flexible based on the candidate.

Annawan’s FFA program has an extensive history of competitive individuals and teams. Participating in many CDEs including agricultural sales, livestock judging, Ag Education, public speaking and many more competitions.

Candidates must have an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Career and Technical Education Educator License with Stipulations (ELS).

Salary is regionally competitive and there is an extended contract with the school district because of the Three Circle FFA and SAE grant.
