Under the general supervision of the Curriculum Director, the instructional coach will work as a colleague with teachers to support student and educator growth. Regularly, the coach will assist teachers and administrators by providing support and teacher leadership in the areas of best instructional practices, data analysis, Professional Learning Communities, and school improvement. The coach will work closely with teachers to collaboratively design instruction, curriculum, and assessments that focus on achieving student outcomes.
The instructional coach will have a laser focus, in all content areas, on learning, results and collaboration working alongside teachers using student-centered coaching; and, closely with building administration to provide leadership with the school improvement plan.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in educational discipline preferred
- Teaching Certification in a Secondary Subject (Grades 6 through 12)
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation
- Extensive successful teaching experience, preferably in more than one subject area and grade level preferred (7year minimum classroom teaching in public education)
Salary: Determined by graduate degrees/hours and level of experience.

Step 1 Salary Range: $43,881 - $49,976 (Bachelors - Masters+30 for a 180 day contract plus 10 additional days to be paid at a per diem rate. - Board paid TRS
