Middle School Special Education Teacher

Valmeyer CUSD #3 is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Middle School Special Education Teacher to join our school staff, serving as case manager for our students and as a resource teacher for our Valmeyer middle school learners. The ideal candidate will hold or be in progress to holding a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL). Benefits are competitive and include board-paid TRS and Health Insurance.

This is a unique opportunity, especially for someone early in the field or recentrly graduated:
We will accept applications from candidates who hold, or are about to hold, any Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Missouri Teacher Certifications valid for grades K-12. If you are not yet endorsed in special education, we will arrange temporary authorization for you and also cover the cost of any coursework or classes you need to attain full endorsement and certification.

Along the way, we will provide the mentorship and support you need to succeed. We know that wonderful educators sometimes come to us from across the river, so if you are a certified Missouri applicant and interested, please know that our district is glad to assist you in attaining your Illinois licensure upon hire.

Salary is Per Negotiated Contract
-Benefits are competitive and include board-paid TRS and Health Insurance. Base Salary is $44,500
