Sonoran Science Academy is seeking a dedicated and reliable Long-Term Substitute Teacher to lead 6-12 Grade Spanish classes . This role requires someone who can step in confidently, maintain instructional continuity, and uphold strong classroom expectations from day one.

This is not a "babysitting" assignment. We are looking for a professional who values structure, consistency, and academic excellence.

• Deliver daily Spanish instruction for grades 6-12.
• Create an engaging, organized, and supportive classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote learning and student achievement.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and classroom records.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure a smooth transition and consistent student support.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

• Bachelor’s degree
• Secondary Spanish teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
