Location: Northern

Position Overview:

A nationwide provider of comprehensive school-based therapy services is seeking a Full-Time SPED Teacher to support a school district in Surprise, AZ. In this role, you will provide specialized academic and behavioral support to students with disabilities in a K–2 Special Teaching Classroom. Your work will directly impact students and their families by helping create a supportive and effective learning environment that promotes student growth and success.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Implement accommodations and modifications to support student learning
  • Develop, manage, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and service records
  • Support students with behavioral, social, and academic needs in the classroom setting
  • Collaborate with families, school staff, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings, case management, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Ensure compliance with special education regulations and district guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in special education or related field
  • Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Credential (or eligibility)
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably grades K–2
  • Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and classroom accommodations
  • Familiarity with SEIS or similar documentation systems preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $29.00 - $54.00 per hour (based on experience and location) + Sign-on Bonus
