LTS Paraeducator; CMS

Cromwell Public Schools is looking for Long Term Sub Para educator for Cromwell Middle School. The LTS Sub Para will work with a variety of students with disabilities. This involves supporting students in all aspects of their day and the ability to work in diverse classroom settings under the direction of the special/and or regular education teachers which may include therapy activities, toileting, lifting, field trips, life skill instruction, and all other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or building principal.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma and experience working with students required. An Associates degree, 60 college credits, or a passing score on the Para Pro Assessment is preferred but not required.

Compensation: $110.00 per day (6.5 hours per day with a 30 minute unpaid lunch), sick and personal time, and health benefits.

Position:
Mid-September through Mid-January.
