Responsible for providing classroom instruction and positive interaction with students and colleagues. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele.

ESSENTIAL

  • All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team.
  • Plan and implement instruction consistent with the preschool curriculum and mandated components.
  • Cooperate with the special education team in order to help special education children meet Individual Educational Plan goals.
  • Cooperate with team members to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans for at risk students.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Perform toileting duties and life skills instruction.
  • Participate in ongoing formal and informal staff development.
  • Maintain data collection regarding student progress/performance, including confidential reports and information.
  • Use formal and informal methods to assess the abilities and needs of students.
Certifications
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
    - American Heart Association
  • Group Leader Qualified
    - Co Dept of Human Services
