Falmouth Schools Nutrition Services is seeking qualified candidates for a Kitchen Worker position at Falmouth Elementary School.

To serve students and staff nutritious and appealing meals in a sanitary and efficient manner.

• -Prepares food for daily meals.
• -Operatesa computerized Point of Sale system.
• -Assists with lunch service and general daily clean up.
• -Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the kitchen manager.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to work quickly, independently, and as a team member in a child-oriented school environment
• Ability to plan ahead and multi-task
• Good math and computer skills
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is a plus
• Sanitation training or willing to attend training
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Approved background check (run by the district)
• CHRC authorization through State of Maine Department of Education

School Year Position is 5.75 hours per day (approximately 8:00 am - 1:45 pm M-F). Pay will be commensurate with experience (current range is $22.18 - $27.51 per hour).
