Performing Arts Roles/ Dance Instructor, Seasonal / Summer

Philadelphia Children's Theater is seeking a Teaching Artist for classes this fall.
This 8-week session of classes run on Saturdays from September 26 through November 14, and takes place at Side Quest Theater at 2030 Sansom St. We are looking for a TA who is available for every session. Curriculum will be provided, but our TA will be welcome to bring their own games and ideas to the development of this program.
Daily schedule runs as follows:
9:30 - arrival time, prep
10:00 - 10:50 - class 1 for kids ages 6-9
11:00 - 12:10 - class 2 for kids ages 9-12
12:30 - end of day
Over the course of eight sessions, participants will embark on an adventure to create and perform a short original play. Students will develop creative skills, grow their talents, and build confidence as they create characters and work together to put on a show. Families are welcome to join us for a final performance on the last day of classes to see their kiddos shine!
$90/day for 3 hrs/day plus an orientation at $30/hr
