St. Catharine Academy is seeking a Social Studies Teacher. The position is 80% with the potential for 100% for the right candidate.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver daily lesson plans covering world events, government, and society.
- Skill Building:
Teach close reading, historical analysis, and how to evaluate primary and secondary sources. - Classroom Management:
Maintain a safe, orderly, and engaging environment that respects diverse learning needs. - Assessment:
Grade assignments, track student growth, and use data to adapt future lessons. - Communication:
Partner with parents, school counselors, and colleagues regarding student progress.
