The University of Southern California, one of the nation's top universities, invites applications for a part-time faculty position in the Engineering in Society Program within the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. The position in the Engineering in Society Program is for their writing course, WRIT 340 - Advanced Writing and Critical Engagement for Engineering, which is the Viterbi version of the university's advanced writing requirement.

Candidates should have experience teaching composition at the university level. Candidates should also have strong oral communication and technical writing skills.

This is a part-time faculty appointment effective Spring 2027, starting January 1, 2027. The USC Viterbi School of Engineering is committed to increasing the diversity of its faculty and welcomes applications from women, underrepresented groups, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

The core salary range for this position is $3,477.60 - $3,581.92 per unit. This is a part-time position.
