Must-Have: Bachelor's Degree in Education with coursework specific to sensory impairments
Description:
Provide quality instruction to students.
Prepare daily lesson plans.
Evaluate students' skills to determine the best program of learning.
Write and implement Individual Education Plans (IEP).Perform all other duties as assigned.
Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and the public.
Instruct students to retain information.
Complete student evaluations.
Develop lesson plans.
Work cooperatively in teams.
Knowledge of current educational and diagnostic practices as they apply to educating sensory-impaired students.
Familiarity with Arizona Academic Standards.
Experience in lesson plan and Individual Education Plan development.
Understanding of student evaluation practices.
Awareness of policies, procedures, and programs of the work unit.
Knowledge of principles and practices of administration and management.
Understanding of agency or program rules, regulations, and operating procedures.
Experience in behavior management, planning, organization, and program development.
Must be willing to travel to all locations and districts in surrounding areas.
Must be able to pass FBI and state background check.
