Weekly Work Hours 40 Compensation Range N04-PT Hourly Rate $23.78 Hourly FLSA United States of America (Non-Exempt) Work Location All positions are considered on-site roles. After six months of employment, some positions may be eligible to apply for a hybrid work arrangement based on job responsibilities, operational needs, supervisor approval, and Dallas College policy. Academic (Faculty) positions require an on-campus presence, even when teaching online courses, in accordance with state law.

• Laboratory Operations & Equipment Management Support the daily operation of automotive laboratories, tool rooms, and specialized instructional spaces.
• Maintain, organize, and manage automotive tools, diagnostic equipment, training systems, materials, and supplies.
• Perform inventory tracking and maintain accurate records of equipment, tools, and consumables.
• Receive, store, distribute, and monitor the return of tools and equipment.
• Ensure lab equipment remains operational through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and coordination of repairs.
• Recommend replacement equipment and new equipment purchases to support instructional needs.
• Student & Faculty Support Partner with faculty to prepare labs and instructional activities that enhance student learning.
• Train students on proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Serve as a technical resource for students, faculty, and staff within automotive programs.
• Support open lab activities and assist in maintaining an engaging, productive learning environment.
