This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time/adjunct assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Demonstrate skill, knowledge and abilities in the teaching discipline. Teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need. Courses may include face to face courses, online courses, and/or dual-credit college classes.

Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction. Develop and use a variety of teaching methods to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes.

Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or Legal Assisting and three (3) years of full time experience as a practicing paralegal OR Juris Doctorate.

OR Five (5) or more years of documented work experience in Paralegal Studies or Legal Assisting or Law Office Management including legal investigations or related work experience supporting the legal profession.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Excellent written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Job Duties

Prepare and deliver lesson plans on course objectives.
Provide feedback on assessments covering course objectives.
Maintain course records including grade books, Census reports, and submissions for transcripts.
