This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time/adjunct assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. ADJUNCT – ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE ( ESOL ):
Teach integrated beginning to advanced ESOL classes in reading, grammar, pronunciation, conversation and composition.

Bachelor’s in English with 18 graduate hours in teaching English as a Second Language.

• Expertise in creative instructional methodologies.
• Knowledge of current technology in instructional settings.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to establish rapport with students and motivate student learning. Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with colleagues.

• Master’s degree in Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages ( TESOL ).
• Full-time teaching experience in high school or post secondary ESOL .
• Experience teaching non-traditional and diverse populations.
• Ability to teach multi-level students in one class.
