West Noble Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and engaging Classroom Instructional Assistant to support teachers and students in grades 2–4. This role focuses on providing targeted academic support, facilitating small group interventions, assisting with classroom management, and creating a positive, structured learning environment where elementary students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Academic Support: Work under the guidance of certified teachers to deliver individualized instruction and small group lessons in reading, math, and writing.
  • Classroom Management: Reinforce classroom rules, help manage student behavior, and assist in maintaining a safe, inclusive learning space.
  • Student Monitoring: Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, assemblies, and dismissal to ensure safety and order.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare teaching materials, organize learning centers, grade routine assignments, and set up classroom technology or equipment.
  • Progress Tracking: Assist teachers in monitoring student progress, gathering assessment data, and recording observations to support learning goals.
  • Inclusion Support: Provide tailored accommodations for students with diverse learning needs or English language learners as directed by individual plans.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be Highly Qualified or able to complete necessary training within the first year of employment (Para Pathways Exams)
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children in a school, tutoring, or childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and young learners.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting classroom needs.
  • Ability to pass required state and district background checks.
