We are currently recruiting a Middle and High School History Teacher

Job Responsibilities:
  • Teach History (Social Studies) to Middle and High School students.
  • Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction using Arizona Academic Standards
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans that are engaging, rigorous, and age-appropriate
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance in required systems
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners
  • Establish and maintain a structured, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Support interdisciplinary learning and collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and content areas
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with students, parents, and school staff
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and curriculum planning
  • Implement school and network policies, procedures, and expectations consistently
  • Support students’ social-emotional development and overall well-being
  • Participate in school events, activities, and duties as assigned

Education, Experience & Certification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Arizona Department of Education Certification (preferred)
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
