We are currently recruiting a Middle and High School History Teacher
Job Responsibilities:- Teach History (Social Studies) to Middle and High School students.
- Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction using Arizona Academic Standards
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that are engaging, rigorous, and age-appropriate
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance in required systems
- Differentiate instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners
- Establish and maintain a structured, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support interdisciplinary learning and collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and content areas
- Communicate regularly and professionally with students, parents, and school staff
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and curriculum planning
- Implement school and network policies, procedures, and expectations consistently
- Support students’ social-emotional development and overall well-being
- Participate in school events, activities, and duties as assigned
- Compassionate, confident educator with strong ethics and integrity
- Clear, respectful, and consistent communicator
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Creative and engaging instructional style
- Positive, professional demeanor with emotional self-regulation
- Collaborative team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Genuine passion for teaching and learning
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Arizona Department of Education Certification (preferred)
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
