OVERVIEW The Student Service Coordinator/Pathway Advisor at the University of Utah serves as a primary contact for international students enrolled in the English language pathway program. The role focuses on delivering coordinated student support that helps students transition successfully into degree programs and engage fully in university life. This position works across multiple campus offices to provide academic advising, wellness support, cultural integration guidance, and program coordination.
The position is centered on helping each student navigate academic and personal challenges while building a supportive international learning environment. The role also contributes to ongoing program improvement through collaboration and reporting.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver holistic student support for international students in the English language pathway program
- Provide integrated academic, social, wellness, and immigration support
- Help students transition into full degree programs at the university
- Conduct student support and case management activities
- Support student wellness and cultural integration initiatives
- Provide student advising and guidance
- Collaborate with academic advising, student success teams, housing, counseling services, and international student services
- Participate in collaboration and reporting efforts
- Contribute to program improvement activities
- Experience related to international student support
- Ability to provide student advising and coordinated support services
- Ability to collaborate with multiple university departments and services
