Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teams within the department, as well as campus partners across divisions.
- Background in working with students in a higher education residential setting.
- Experience with academic support, student success initiatives, or residential learning programs.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise student staff members.
- Availability to work flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing assessment data to evaluate program effectiveness and support continuous improvement of student learning initiatives.

Position Purpose
The Coordinator for Learning Communities develops and coordinates residential learning initiatives that support student engagement, academic success, and community building. Through collaboration with faculty, campus partners, and Housing staff, this position creates and assesses programs and experiences that promote student learning, belonging, and retention while providing support for student staff and residential community participants.
