Kidspace Aide Part Time

Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success! Our school district is located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).

Under the direction of the Educational Supervisor and the guidance of the Kidspace Site Lead, the Kidspace Aide is responsible for engagement with students. If playing outdoors, walks, trips to the beach and parks sound fun thiswould be a greatjob for you! We are seeking responsible youth who like providing leadership and a positive relationship with our young children. Scheduling is flexible and there are no nights or weekends involved.

Monday - Friday, hours will vary

The successful candidate will be reliable, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a recognition, interest, and respect for the needs of children. Prior experience working with children is preferred.

Candidates must be 15 years of age or older

$15.00 an hour
